Cable sensors convert linear displacement of the stainless steel cable into rotational displacement by means of a drum connected to a return spring. The sensor provides a signal proportional to the displacement of the cable via a hybrid potentiometer or an encoder connected to the shaft of the drum. The signal provided may be analog or pulse. We also offer a range of PTLM series sensors allowing the mounting of your encoder thanks to the brackets and an oldham coupling which are part of the sensor.
