The customer needs to periodically perform maintenance on tramway trains.
They need to elevate the trams so that the operators have access underneath them.
A multi-point lifting system is required. In order to do this in safe conditions and not to damage the trainsets, the different lifting points have to move in a synchronized way.
Linear cable displacement sensors have been installed at each lifting point. The sensors measure the position of the cylinders in real time to ensure that they are in the correct position in relation to each other so as not to create imbalance/overload and to ensure safety during the linear movment. The simplicity of these sensors allows them to be included in every system in a simple and reliable way. Simply attach the sensor trough its fixing holes and the wire rope end with the M4 fastener.
